INTENTIONS
PROBLEM
However, speaking in public is not an easy thing. We all make the same mistakes on stage, we have the same verbal tics, we do not know which parts of your speech are the least understandable. We leave our presentation with beliefs but never with certainties.
NEED
We all have things to say, fights to lead and the fierce desire to be listened to. Who did not want to make his word into an instrument of conquest? Who did not want to convince with a clear and powerful speech?
TECH
IDEA
Being comfortable with public speaking is something to be learnt. That learning is done through practicing, yet the interaction between the audience and the speaker is not sufficiently dissected. Acté is born from those observations and in today’s context where powerful speaking skills are valued. Acté let us have a reliable, efficient, and lasting feedback to make progress in public speaking.
TEAM
We are a team of designer and engineering students. The diversity of our profiles made us think the project with different methods, based on the users' need and the available technologies.

THANKS
Acté was born during the 2018 edition of Prix Design et Sciences Université Paris-Saclay we took part in. First, we would like to thank the organizing team of the competition, who comes from Strate Ecole de Design, ENS Paris-Saclay, ENSTA ParisTech and Télécom ParisTech for supporting us.
We would also thank the partners of the Prix Design et Sciences who helped us in our communication: Design Spot of the Université Paris-Saclay, the public establishment Universcience, and the biggest exhibition and conference for virtual and augmented reality Laval Virtual.
PROJECT
Nowadays we practically need to be masters of communication and persuasion to deliver a message. However? not everyone can do it efficiently in a public speaking context. Those skills are to be learned, especially through practicing. Yet practice often comes with unsatisfying feedbacks, despite us willing to make progress. Acté project aims to improve such feedbacks by dissecting the public speaking context and especially the audience’s reactions.
